学习协助中心(LAC)

The LAC provides the support necessary for all students enrolled in math courses - addressing content from arithmetic through calculus during its regular hours.

During the fall and spring semesters, in-person math support is available in the lower level of the Marvin 图书馆 Learning Commons as follows:

The LAC provides instruction to help students develop and apply learning strategies, study strategies and skills for academic success.

Instruction focuses on a range of topics including test taking, 学习技巧, note taking and developing transferable learning strategies. 服务 are provided through a variety of methods that include workshops, one-on-one and small group assistance.

Our services include the following:

• Reviewing 学习技巧 for specific courses

• Introducing test-taking strategies
• Demonstrating memory improvement techniques
• Teaching textbook reading, note taking, and marking
